Hot mess (1)

noun; compounding
someone in a state of extremely disarray but maintains a great degree of attractiveness. The compound comes from "mess" meaning disarray and disordering and "hot", meaning attractive. It probably came to being due to the lack of a better term to describe an attractive female in disarray. Such appears to convey a message that demands a more precise term.

"Isn't she a hot mess?"
Etymology : Compound of "hot" and "mess"
