She is usually so mild-mannered, everyone was surprised that she was so zütted at the party. the term zooted, commonly used amongst drug users, refers to being incredibly high or drunk, but became züted with the umlaut after a friend, who was zooted, began saying the word with the German accent while marching like a German soldier. the term, ending in -ed, does not have to be used in past tense and the -ed affix would suggest
