salgorithm

noun clipping and blending
an algorithm implemented and deployed to a software product for the quick fix of an imminent problem. Salgorithms are typically made to address a problem reported by a customer of the software.

"Oh crap! If people click the buy button on our website twice in impatience, it charges them twice whereas they should only be charged once." "We need to write a salgorithm to fix this issue and provide a refund to all the customers who were charged twice."
Etymology : a clipping of Salvatore blended with the word algorithm
