zap

verb; sound symbolism
1. To transform something into appearing gay or to appear as if done by a gay man As if you shoot it with a gun, to ‘zap’ something is to change it’s appearance to look gay. If you ‘zapped’ a person, you made him look gay. If you ‘zap’ a room, you are redecorating it to make it look as if a gay man decorated it. Some contend that the sound ‘zap’ is a “gay sound,” so that obviously contributes to the use of this word.

Whoa, somebody zapped this room.
Etymology : Based on English (sci-fi) zap ‘to shoot with a laser gun, to fry’
