[my eggo is] prego

adjective; clipping
“Prego” alone refers to a young woman being pregnant; another way I have heard the word is in the phrase, “her eggo is prego.” This refers to a woman’s egg being fertilized, making her pregnant.

Alludes to the brand of frozen waffles, known as “Eggo,” which were marketed with the slogan, L’Eggo my Eggo". Similarly, “my eggo is prego” has the same rhyme to it and is used as a slang way to refer to pregnancy.
Etymology : The entire phrase “my eggo is prego” is a rhyming compound with the word “pregnant” clipped to “prego”. The word “prego” used by itself is clipped from phrase “my eggo is prego.”
Source : From the December 2007 hit movie Juno, in which a character tells Juno, “Your eggo is preggo, no doubt about it.” Also heard spoken from roommate, September 2008.
