Totes McGoats

adverb; compounding; rhyming compound
Totally

Yet another term that originated in the film “I Love You, Man.” Comedy movies have always been rich sources of neologisms and new catchphrases because subtly suggest the movie as well as connect the words to the current scenario. A second advantage of movie words crossing into everyday language is that there is a level of pop culture literacy expected if the phrase is to be understood. People who say this are generally referencing Paul Rudd’s awkwardness with words, or they are unaware of the origin and are merely repeating something they’ve heard someone say.
Etymology : A play on the Valley-girl phrase “totally,” integration of rhyming culture
