Hyper-partisanship

derivation; noun
The state of a political body voting and agreeing only with their associated party, even when it defies the beliefs of the constituents. A time of extreme partisanship.
 
The House of Representatives has been following party lines to a deadlock. The hyper-partisanship is not getting anything accomplished.
Etymology : Addition of Greek hyper- “above, over” to English partisanship. The addition is to show an extreme form.
