Bear

analogy verb
A term used when talking about playing multiplayer online in the video game Halo 3. It is used to describe the action of running in to a group of opponents, attacking haphazardly, attempting to take out at least one before dying. It originates from online descriptions of the different play styles, one of which, the Bear, is known for preferring close quarters fighting with little regard to their own health.

You can’t just go bear into their base like that, there’s enough of them there to kill you as soon as you walk in.
Etymology : Analogy of a fighting style to how a bear behaves
