Staycay

blending and clipping; noun
Spending vacation time without leaving one’s home. This can refer to simply enjoying time inside one’s home, perhaps by taking part in vacation-like activities there. It can also mean vacationing within one’s hometown and “playing tourist.” It is used as a cheaper way to spend family time during a vacation.
Etymology : Clipping of vacation (from Latin vacare “to be empty, free, or at leisure) blending with stay
