Frankenreview

noun compounding, clipping
A review of a recently released product that is a conglomeration of other reviews.

On the gaming forum / blog Kotaku, new games will often be given a frankenreview. These reviews typically will be composed of 3-5 paragraphs taken from other web sites followed by Kotaku's own reaction. This word likely came from a compounding of a clipping of Frankenstein, the name associated with the monster given life from many reassembled parts, and the word review.
Etymology : compounding of Franken (clipping from Frankenstein) + review
