It is a slang word used to represent the phrase “For sure”. It is commonly used when individuals chat through emails or instant messaging. It gives the phrase a very “cool” and happening finish which makes the person seem superior and desirable.
 
“Il be there fo sho”
Etymology : Fo + Sho. Fo is the shortened version of “For” which comes from Proto Germanic. Sho is the shortened version of “Sure” which comes from Old French.
