Guestimate

compounding Verb
It means to make an estimate of some value which is unknown. It is a clever compounding of two words which have similar meaning and similar sounds. Essentially the words means the same as an estimate or a guess but here estimate is taken as a noun and the words uses guess as the verb.
 
"Guys, let’s just make a guestimate”
Etymology : Gues + estimate. Gues is the shortened form of Guess which is a verb. It comes from Scandinavian Guessen which means to estimate, to appraise. Estimate comes from Latin aestimatus which means a valuation.
