- There are some places where cell phone and wireless cannot get signal. These zones are called deadzone. Since we can get wireless connection and use cell phones almost everywhere in these days, places where no signal is available may seem malfunctioning and dead. Therefore, I believe these places are called “dead”zone, where people cannot do anything.
