A word which describes an object to be of bad design or make. It is used to describe objects which are old and worn out as well.
 
“That car is janky”
Etymology : It has not been discovered where the etymology of janky is from but I believe it is definitely an adjective because it is used to describe non-living objects and has the English –y ending.
