blending noun
a student who prefers the safety and comfort of the typical academic life over the trials and tribulations of the real world. These people tend to try to stay in school forever and live off of their parents money.
 
He was definitely my favorite character in Animal House; he was such a slackademic! "7 years of college down the drain!"
