noun; blending
The anticipation one feels when waiting for a response to a sent-out text. Can be minimal, such as when casually asking a friend a question, or great, as when asking a crush out on a date. The blending comes from the 'ex' sound in both the middle of 'text' and the beginning of 'expectation.'
 
I hope he responds to my text soon, the textpectation is killing me!
