blending and clipping NOUN
One who is very passionate about Rice University and/or its sports teams. Comes from a blending of the addictive connotations of ‘alcoholic’ with the Rice University mascot, the owl.
 
“I go to every Rice baseball game! I’m a certified Owlcaholic!”
