zuted

derivation
State of acting outside of norms for self, usually under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

It is another way to describe someone as being drunk or high. It is probably a loanword from another language, but at this time that language is unknown. It looks to be German but there is no certainty at this time. There does not seem to be a true reason why the speaker used this word, other than the fact that he saw it somewhere and felt it was a great way to describe how he was when he saw it. It has since become a word used exclusively among students at Rice.
Etymology : source is unknown, but is probably a loanword from a foreign language, and if so, it more than likely underwent a meaning change.
