badunc

noun; compounding
In the 2009-2010 school year at Rice University, Baker College had to live with the Duncan freshman class while Baker College was being renovated. The term "badunc" was created by Baker College to make the two colleges, living together, feel like one college. The word caught on and the two colleges were known as one for most of the year as "badunc." The term started to fade after Duncan started to build its own identity with Beer Bike and the Duncan Public Party, Sensation.

"There was controversy of whether or not badunc would be participating in the Beerbike race, but I think they will race separately as Duncan and Baker."
Etymology : This is an example of Baker College being shortened to "ba" and Duncan College being shortened to "dunc." These two clippings then form the compound "badunc."
