seatjack

blending; verb
To steal someone's seat.
 
A term that takes the word carjack for stealing cars and applies to the word seat as in stealing seats. Carjack is broken up where the car is dropped, and the word seat is added instead. It is often used in reference to reserve seating.
Etymology : The blending of the word seat and carjacking where "car" is dropped.
