Shazbot

220; blending
An exclamation expressing disgust or consternation, usually used as a euphemism in the place of profanity. An exclamation used as a substitute to cursing, similar to the usage of “fudge” or “shoot”. It was first used in the TV Sci-Fi Comedy Mork and Mindy. Since then, it has appeared numerous times in pop culture including on The Simpsons and in the video game Tribes. Probably derived from the common swear word “shit”, and given a sci-fi/technological-sounding name to fit the theme of the show. The seeming ridiculousness and randomness of the formation of the word despite showing signs of its origin is probably meant to add to the comedic effect.

Shazbot!
Etymology : Blend formed from ‘SHIT’, ‘-BOT’ (a suffix meaning ‘robotic’) and the invented sound SHAZ, probably meant to imply futuristic origin.
