Victimhood

noun; analogy
a state of suffering resulting from an event or action

The term “victimhood” was created to fill the absence of a word that could concisely refer collectively to the state of being a victim. The situation demanded a succinct statement rather than an elaborate phrase that could have expressed the same point.
Etymology : From victim + -hood
