Softs

noun; analogy
the part of the human body located behind the patella (also referred to as the “softs of the knees”)
 
The term “softs” is metonymically relating a quality of the knee to that part of the knee. It is comically derived from the term “knee-softs,” which is most likely used by the non-medically educated community.
Etymology : From knee-softs, referring to a physical characteristic of the knees
