Being in a simple situation that seems impossible to overcome.
 
Similar to saying, "screwed" such as in "I'm screwed." The equivalent in Spanish would be "cagado." The -ed suffix was added to the Spanish morph "cag-." The person that produced this word was most likely of Latin heritage trying to find the English equivalent for cagado and formed a new word by adding an English suffix.
Etymology : Was formed by blending of the borrowed Spanish slang word "cagado" which means "fucked" and the English suffix -ed.
