GG

acronym; interjection
A phrase used after a game or competition is completed. It can be used by the winner to congratulate the loser on a truly good effort, or it can be used by someone who was not part of the game to mock and point out how badly the loser played.

This acronym comes from the phrase 'good game' originally said by both teams after playing a game as a sign of respect. However, the acronym can now also be used by someone who was not on either team and did not participate in the game. The connotation of GG changes depending on who says it.
Etymology : acronym of "good game", which also underwent pejoration to become a phrase that is not completely sincere.
