Dicking

verb; derivation
To fool around, to be lazy and unproductive

This was phrase was first used by my roommate. Dick was originally a noun, describing either a male genital or a foul person. However, my roommate, an international student from China, perceived it as a verb and linked the word "dick" to the process of intercourse, or "screwing". Thus, the original noun is now converted into a verb meaning "screwing around". This is a slang term that is slowly spreading to other international Chinese students.
Etymology : Conversion from Dick, originally meaning male genital, affixing "ing" + around
