Germ-ing

verb; derivation
infect with germs

This word was first used by my peer academic advisor (PAA). She was scrubbing a pan with her hand because she said that a used scrub would be "germ-ing" her clean pan. This word is formed by merely attaching the "ing" to the noun germ.
Etymology : Germ, from Latin germen + affixation of "ing"
