Cock-block

verb; compounding
to prevent a friend or roommate from engaging in sexual activity Humorous way to describe interfering in someone else’s sexual pursuits. This is quite common in college, especially if the person has roommates. Males use this more often, and the ones I’m friends with like to threaten each other with “cock-blockage”.

You cock-blocked me last night! Watch out, I’ll get even next weekend.
Etymology : : Cock: Middle English cok, from Old English cocc, probably from Late Latin coccus, from coco, a cackling, of imitative origin; block: Middle English blok, from Old French bloc, from Middle Dutch
