FOFL

acronym verb
to engage in merriment including laughter but not necessarily including falling on the floor. An acronym of ‘fall on the floor laughing.’
 
The term can be used interchangeably with ROFL, or ‘Roll On the Floor Laughing.’ Usually used in type and in rarer occasions, speech, to acknowledge the hilarity of a situation.
Etymology : an acronym for ‘fall on the floor laughing,’ which is parallel to ROFL, or ‘roll on the floor laughing.’
