- The twelve year old prostitot from next door
Prostitot
noun; blending and clipping
A young girl who tries to dress sexy by wearing non conservative clothing and a lot of makeup A clever play on words, the tute ending on prostitute can easily be replaced by the word tot. The change of the word is minimal, so it still bears the negative connotations that prostitute brings. However, as the word is slightly different people probably thought they could get away with saying it without offending the children or, more importantly, their parents. However, the neologism is just too similar to the old word, and as such still brings offense and resentment when it is used. Decades ago there would be no need at all for this word, but as times have moved on, girls and dressing less and less conservatively, and beginning to do so earlier and earlier in their lives. With the onset of ‘teen queens’ in more recent times, younger girls who look up to them as role models end up dressing like they do. This brings strange results, as since the girls are still so young they look horribly out of place in the clothes that they have. The use of this word is still not exceedingly high, but it does find its way into daily conversation, and it is seemingly becoming more and more common throughout every demographic, though it still seems to be used most predominantly by people in their mid-twenties to early forties.
