Originating from the term FOB, or "Fresh Off the Boat." An adjective used to refer to foreign people or immigrants who have not adjusted to American culture and society. The term is most often used to describe unassimilated asians.
 
Those exchange students are so fobby.
Etymology : From the acronym FOB, meaning "Fresh off the boat" referring to how immigrants used to arrive in America from ships travelling across seas.
