kegerator

noun; blending
Device used to keep large drink containers (“kegs”) cold. Speaker wanted to use a colorful word to describe an object he needed. This term also is well-known among the drinking community, so it conveyed his meaning more precisely than a longer (and less concise) description would have.

We need to get a kegerator.
Etymology : Kegerator. Blending of keg + refrigerator
