wikipedia (2)

noun; zero derivation
The action of searching for a topic on the website www.wikipedia.org.

Used by those who are familiar with the website Wikipedia.
Etymology : Originally a verb, wikipedia has become a verb as the phrase “look it up on Wikipedia” is shortened in conversation. This is an example of the zero derivation of a noun into a verb meaning “to use [the noun]” which started with the zero derivation from Google to google in the early 2000s.
