hulu

verb; other word formation type eponymy
To watch an entertainment program (usually already aired on television), on www.hulu.com.

Hulu is a commonly used website to watch television programs on-demand. Because of its prevalent usage, the website’s name is used as an actual verb in common speech. This is very similar to the development of the words “to google” and “to facebook”. The more popular a website becomes, the more likely the website’s name will be used in everyday speech. It then follows that the name becomes an actual word.
Etymology : Comes from a Chinese word meaning “a holder of precious things” (http://blog.hulu.com/2008/05/13/meaning-of-hulu/)
Source : I can’t watch this show right now. I’ll just hulu it later. (personal conversation with friend, October 2011)
