Monguise

folk etymology Noun
A fool or an insignificant person or thing.

It's used affectionately to refer to people. For example, "This monguise doesn't even know how to parallel park!". It's not necessarily an insult.
Etymology : Unclear. One possibility is that it derives from "Come on, guys". Another is that it derives from "mongoose". However, I have heard it pronounced both "mon-gize" or "mon-gwee-say".
Source : From am article on a website dedicated to a strategy game. http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/initial-technology-a-worlds-of-extended/ The line in context: "Besides most of the Facebook thread, we had Brad’s little bro, Corey Baumeister, Owen Turtenwald, and some other monguises."
