Bunny Hug

noun; compounding
A hoodie. Also known as a sweatshirt with a hood.
 
Canadians, especially those from Saskatchewan, use bunny hug to describe sweatshirts that have hoods.
Etymology : It is compounding of Bunny and hug. Bunny hug became used because bunnies are soft and fluffy like most sweatshirts and sweatshirts seem to give you a hug.
