Drunchies

blending and clipping; noun
Used to describe the hunger that is experienced after a few too many drinks. Formed from a blend of “munchies” and “drunk”. “Munchies” traditionally has a connotation with the stoner population while “drunchies” refers to those who simply drink but do not smoke. This term cannot be used unless the user is at least tipsy. Cannot be used at formal cocktail parties for light refreshments, normally refers to greasy food which some would not consume unless their mental state was altered. Etymology: Blend between “drunk” and “munchies”
