broski3

noun; compounding "bro" + "ski"
A close friend who is a teenage/college boy. Term is used mostly by girls.

Derived from the word "bro." "Bro" is thus derived from the word "brother" through the process of clipping. Then, an ending of "-ski" is added to "bro." However, this ending "ski" has no connotation or implication connected to it. It does not signify anything having to do with skiing. It is merely an ending you attach to the word "bro" to make it sound better/cuter. It is essentially a compounding of "bro" with the ending "ski." The word was coined to create another word that means "bro," but with a cuter tone.
