Orgo (3)

noun; clipping From the word organic, removing the “anic” and adding an “o” in reference to organic chemistry.
An organic chemistry course.

First heard this term last year when I was talking to someone taking organic chemistry and immediately began using it as a convenient abbreviation. This abbreviation is commonly used around Rice University but I had to explain it to my friends from other schools indicating that is not commonly used outside of this campus.
