Geeked out

adjective novel creation
A euphemism for someone being on the study drug Adderall.

The term was a novel creation here on Rice campus due to the huge extent of study drugs permeating throughout. It was coined by a close friend of mine who happens to be around the use of it all the time. Considering that Adderall makes you feel much smarter and focused, the term geeked out must have been derived from the term geek which means someone who is smart.
Etymology : The term geek used to mean sideshow break back in 1916, but now has a new meaning for someone who is very smart, obsessed with technology, and has little social life. The stretch from this to mean someone on study drugs is applicable because of the focus one gets when on Adderall.
