Dadventure

blending dad and adventure; noun
Going out to do a fun activity with your father.

Usually involves a day or weekend trip or outing with your dad. In general, this is a special occasion because these days/weekends do not happen very often. This is often a great time for child-father bonding. Activities can range from camping to museums to road trips to sporting events. You often get away with more stuff than with your mom such as unhealthy meals and staying up late.
Etymology : Dad is likely prehistoric, but was written down around 1500. Adventure likely comes the 13th century Latin word "auenture" which means that which happens by chance, fortune or luck.
