laggy

derivation "lag" + "-g-" + "-y"; adjective
Slow, inconsistent

This is a newly derived term used most frequently among online video gamers and is usually used to describe an Internet server that causes so much lag during a gameplay that the player seemed to have teleported through space in other players' screen. The "-y" ending in "laggy" adds to its informal tone and simplicity of usage, as opposed to the formal tone of the more generally used word "lagging."
Etymology : Derived from the stem "lag", the fill "-g-", and the adj suffix "-y".
