NBD (215)

slang; acronym
calm and short response to someone who let you down; simpler way of saying ‘no big deal’

This term is used as an acronym because it implies annoyance as a response to someone who didn’t pull through on something. The person who coined this term doesn’t show respect by giving a full response to the person who let them down, because they didn’t respect them in the first place (so a simple three letters are used).
Etymology : from the phrase ‘no big deal’
