mizz2

verb; other word formation type manipulating word pronunciations to create new words
To regret the absence of someone

Derived from the verb "to miss," which means to think of someone and wish someone were at the same place. The odd spelling of "mizz" results from the manipulation of pronunciation of the word "miss" in everyday language. Many times, people like to change "s" sounds into "z" sounds, and that is what happened in this case. The "z" sound is easier and more fun to make in everyday language. Holding the "s" sound is not very easy, but holding the "z" sound is very doable. It is often used between close friends, usually girls. The word can vary in the number of 'z's attached to it as long as it is at least 2 'z's.
Etymology : manipulation of word pronunciation of the word "miss"
