Larger size; specifically with fast food combo meals. New word for a commercial invention designed to attract people to larger sized things. This was a business ploy that made a catchy phrase to boost profit. The words super and size have been used together before. Super means excessive and size reveals physical dimensions. The compound word describes an object of excessive proportions. It is a common word in the fast food industry and has also been popularized with the movie “Supersize Me.”
 
Then wait for the ambulance, promising God you’ll never, ever supersize again.
