In the context of the zombies game mode in first person shooter video games, a strategic zombie with its legs blown off so that it allows time to accomplish important tasks on a level of zombies without the level changing.
 
Derived from the word crawl, which is what a zombie with no legs does, and made into a now by adding -er.
Etymology : Originated from the video gamers that played the original zombie maps as a way to describe legless zombies
