crosspost

verb; compounding
To post the same message on two or more forums or blogs. As the popularity of forums, blogs, and other forms of static messaging have increased over the years, forums about similar topics exist. Although the two forums span similar interests, the two communities are essentially separate entities. As a result, if a person is a part of both forums and wishes to share the same information on both forums, such as a story they wrote, the release date of a movie or game, or a relevant new stories, then that person posts that piece of information on both forums. Furthermore, in order to let others know that this piece of information is not exclusive to a particular forum, it is often polite for the poster to state at the end of a post that the information was “crossposted” to wherever else.
