sleepcation

noun; blending
A vacation where the individual only sleeps. This word was most likely created because the speaker was exhausted from studying, taking exams, and working. This blend of “sleep” and “vacation” clearly illustrates what the speaker intends to do on this “vacation.” It’s a simple word that gets the speaker’s point across. This word began to be used more often during the time of hell week and near the end of the semester.

I’m so done with school and work. I need a sleepcation!
Etymology : Blend of ‘sleep’ and ‘vacation;’ sleep from Old English "slæp" meaning sleep, inactivity and vacation from Old French "vacation," from Latin "vacationem" meaning being free from duty
