A collection of a person's personal activities and thoughts, as in a blog, presented through videos. A blend where the b in blog is replaced by a v, which is a similar voiced stop. Blogs are websites used as online journals, with separate entries in chronological order. Vlogs emerged with the growing popularity of YouTube, as people recorded videos of their lives and opinions for the same purpose as a blog and posted them online.
Etymology : blend of video, meaning see in Latin, and blog, which was originally a clipping of "weblog"
