clipping a clipping of "ergonomics"; noun interdisciplinary subject of human interaction with systems
interdisciplinary scientific study of human interactions with systems, product design, and the efficiency of products. A synonym for human factors, a term used in US, ergonomics is more commonly used in Europe.
 
We're going to have to design an alarm clock for ergo by the end of the semester.
